Dear Parents and Care
Givers:Welcome, and Welcome Back! If you are like me, you must be wondering
where the summer went. But now we have begun another school year, another
very special and important year in the life of your child. Each school
year is a building block, as your child moves through elementary and middle
school years, to high school, college, and possibly even beyond, to graduate
school. If all of us are working as a team, this will be a successful
year.
Welcome to the new teachers! They bring lots of energy, new ideas, years
of experience, and a commitment to your child’s growth. We pray
that God will bless what we all have begun in faith.
In a couple of months, our new library will be complete, and we will have
a grand opening - open house for you to come and see what we have been
able to achieve through the kindness of the Knott Foundation and many
others, who in lesser but certainly in no less important ways, helped
bring the library to fruition. We continue to make improvements on our
old buildings, which keep showing their age. Mr. Joel Williams is committed
to make this “a year of improvements” in the school. As you
make visits to the school, you will see good things happening to the buildings.
We are having our Opening School Mass on Monday, September 17 at 9:30
a.m. in the school gym. You are welcome to come and pray with the school
family, as we celebrate WHO I AM, and look at the wonderful person that
God made each of us, and all the potential God put in us. We pray that
our children will be challenged to use that potential and give Glory to
God in doing so.
Again, welcome to the new year. I pray for you and your children each
day, and I encourage you to do the same, please. When the prayers and
the praises go up, the Blessings of the Lord come down!!! I have spoken
by phone to many of you this summer, and I look forward to meeting you
on BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT.
God’s Peace be with you!
Thanks for your
support.
Peace,
Fr. Edward Miller
